Earlier I have read some articles about Yoga and I just want to share to all of you what I have read. 

For Bombay-born Shilpa Doshi, yoga is now a passion. Despite growing up in a family that ardently practised yoga, this had not always been the case. "I never took it seriously. I had the same feelings that many people have - ‘its’ not for me’, ‘perhaps when I am older’, ‘no time’, and so on", but well into my tenth year of practising yoga, she now conducts classes in Bangsar, Malaysia and even hopes one day to set up a yoga centre cum foundation so that more people can experience its benefits, as well as encourage research into it. But her passon came about, not in a bid to attain the loftier goal of heightened awareness, but rather out of more temporal physical concerns. Describing herself as ‘health conscious’, she would accompany her husband to the gym on a regular basis, but she admits, "it was really about looking good and noting beyond that!" But following the birth of her second child, a friend suggested she take up yoga to help tone up her body. And after only three months of yoga, she began to see the benefits, feeling great in the process. This was enought to send her off on a search for self-improvement - first advancing her yoga studies in Bombay, Learning pranayama, or breath control, from renowned teacher N.H. Rao, and then later honing her skills through regular trips back to India. Doshi notes she has a ‘hyper’ personality rather high-strung and quaick to lose her temper. Following the move to yoga, which she sayas "works from the inside out". her friends and family noticed a definite change - she was much calmer and more in control of stressful situations than ever before. "Yoga is a gift of a lifetime" says Doshi. One can start at any age. "You work at your own pace and with yourself, the teacher merely guides you along the way. It maintains your youth and vitality, and your mind is more focused." She adds that yoga practitioners look much younger than their actual age - no doubt due to the harmony they engender between their body, mind and soul.

I am just also a human being that can be hurt too! Sorry can’t easily remove the pain because my heart has been wounded so deeply! This is not only a small probelm, but a major one! You promised me, but that promise was broken… Now I am crying in vain! If you know whats inside on my mind and how much it hurts me! You can’t describe or tell what the feelings I experience now!

 

 

Juan Carlos Cuenca, better known by his screen name Jake Cuenca (born December 30, 1987 in San Jose, California, U.S.), is a Filipino print and commercial model and a television and film actor who rose to prominence via his stint as one of the young stars in the youth-oriented show Click. He was a contract star of GMA Network but jumped to ABS-CBN after his contract with GMA Network expired. He is currently a member of ABS CBN’s circle of homegrown talents named Star Magic. He was also a student of PAREF Southridge, a school for boys.

Cuenca grew up in San Jose, California and was the middle child in a brood of three. His career in the Philippines began when he was discovered by a talent scout for Cosmo Modeling Agency at the age of nine. Soonafter, he made several television and print commercials including endorsements for Safeguard, Coke and Globe Telecom.

By the time he was fourteen, Cuenca was taken under the wing of star makers Neil de Guia and Douglas Quijano. In 2003, he auditioned for GMA Network’s highly successful youth program, Click where he was included as one of the cast. His stint in the show contributed much to his growing popularity. When the show was defunct, Cuenca began portraying varied roles and was cast in several television outings including Hanggang Kailan, Forever In My Heart and Love to Love.

Alongside his growing television career, Cuenca also attended workshops with directors Peque Gallaga and Joel Lamangan where he developed the technique and motivation needed for television acting, a far cry from the broad-gestured and exaggerated manner of billing in commercials.

His career heightened in 2005 when he became part of the fantasy show Encantadia, playing Dingdong Dantes and Karylle’s invincible heir, Kahlil. He also appeared in the ninth season of Love to Love entitled Miss Match where he was paired with reality show winner and young actress Jennylyn Mercado.

He starred as one of the wizards in the fantasy-themed television series Majika. Cuenca, along with fellow male stars hailing from successful telefantasya’s, was featured in the second issue of X-ray Magazine where he sheds off his boy-next door charm for a much more provocative and mature take on his image.

Jake Cuenca is now in the Kapamilya Network ABS-CBN after his contract with GMA-7 expired. In fact, he became a certified true Kapamilya when he appeared in the ABS-CBN 2006 Christmas Station ID entitled "Angat ang Ligaya ng Pasko". He is now featured in top-rated TV shows in ABS-CBN.

Jake was part of the cast of one of ABS-CBN’s highest rating soap opera entitled "Sana Maulit Muli" which garnered 36.1% nationwide ratings. The series was topbilled by Kim Chiu and Gerald Anderson and was first aired on January 8, 2007. He was also in a Lovespell Episode called "Sweet Sixty", starring Sarah Geronimo, Oyo Boy Sotto, and Roxanne Guinoo. Roxanne Guinoo became his girlfriend.

Cuenca got a big break in his career when he and supposedly ex-girlfriend Roxanne Guinoo were given the chance to play the lead roles in the well received 2007 TV series Sineserye Presents: Natutulog Ba Ang Diyos?. He was also a part of the fantaserye Mars Ravelo’s Lastikman with Roxanne Guinoo, Vhong Navarro and Iya Villania. They played characters involved in a love quadrangle (square). He was recently removed from the sitcom That’s My Doc starring Aga Muhlach, to concentrate on his new series Palos.

He is currently seen in the primetime action TV series entitled Palos, sharing topbillings with Cesar Montano. Bangs Garcia was supposed to be the leading lady of Jake in the said series, but due to public-demand, the character of Roxanne Guinoo, Anna, was resurrected after initially shown to have died during the early part of the show. Many felt that this was because the Jake-Bangs tandem did not have enough on-screen chemistry. Jake is a mainstay of ASAP ‘08 and a member of the group Star Magic’s The Coverboys.

Jake admitted in an episode of the TV talk show Boy & Kris that he has a framed picture of Roxanne in his bedroom. He also admitted that Roxanne has already met his parents. The couple call each other ‘B’ short for baby, detailed in Deal Or No Deal with Kris Aquino.

 

 

Today is the birthday of my friend Gerald Villaceran! He celebrated his birthday yesterday so that we can drink up. All of the people who attend his celebration yesterday was so full and drunk! hehehe We drink Tanduay Rhum and after that we washed up with Red Horse " Pula nga horse " hehehe We shared laughts and enjoy the party yesterday. The party was finished about 3:00am then we go home. As you can see in the picture it has 4 persons and the 3 was blur the other one not in blur is Gerald Villaceran the birthday boy!
