It’s a Holiday
Good morning to all!
I’m so happy we have no class today because it is BONIFACIO DAY and declared by the president of the Philippines that today will be a holiday.
This day was Andrés Bonifacio’s death. Andrés Bonifacio was one of the Filipino revolutionary leader and who died for the freedom of the Filipino. He is regarded as the "Father of the Philippine Revolution" and one of the most influential national heroes of his country. A freemason, Bonifacio was the founder of the Katipunan organization which aimed to start an independence movement against Spain.
